Dashboards

Dashboards combine live sensor readings, history charts, and saved 3D building views. They can appear as overlays on your 3D floorplan or inside a View Profile.

Creating a Dashboard

1. Open the Dashboards tab in the left sidebar, then click + Add.
2. In Summary, set the dashboard name.
3. Open Tiles and drag a tile into the dashboard edit area.
4. For data tiles, open Properties and drag a sensor property onto the tile to bind its data source. You can also drag a property directly into the edit area to create a data tile.

Configuring Gauge Thresholds

A Gauge displays a numeric property with colored ranges to help identify changing conditions.

1. Add a Gauge tile and drag a property onto it.
2. Open the tile’s settings.
3. Under Range, set Min and Max.
4. Under Thresholds, set Yellow and Red.

For example, a gauge with a range of 0–100, a Yellow threshold of 60, and a Red threshold of 85 highlights progressively higher readings.

Keep thresholds within the display range, with Yellow no higher than Red. These thresholds control the gauge’s appearance.

Customizing Property Icons

Use icons to make Property and Property List tiles easier to recognize.

Open the tile’s settings and configure:

Showing History with a Line Chart

Use Line Chart to display sensor history and compare multiple properties.

1. Drag Line Chart from Tiles onto the dashboard.
2. Open Properties and drag a sensor property onto the chart.
3. Drag additional properties onto the same chart to add more series.
4. Open the tile’s settings to configure:

Available history depends on the data retained by your monitoring system. Selecting a longer range does not create older readings.

Displaying a Floor Layer

Use a Floor Layer tile to display a top-down 2D floor view with an optional visualization layer, such as a temperature or humidity heatmap.

1. Open Tiles and drag Floor Layer onto the dashboard.
2. Open the tile’s settings.
3. Under Floor, select the floor to display.
4. Under Layer, select a visualization layer, or choose None to display the floor without a layer.
5. Resize and position the tile as needed.

For heatmaps, the displayed data comes from sensors mapped to the selected layer.

Displaying a Building View

Use a View Profile tile to display a saved 3D building view inside your dashboard.

1. Create a View Profile with the desired building view.
2. In the dashboard editor, open Tiles and drag View Profile onto the dashboard.
3. Open the tile’s settings and choose a saved profile under View Profile.
4. Resize and position the tile as needed.

The tile uses the selected profile’s camera position, building display settings, visualization layer, and floating-card settings.

Duplicating a Tile

Hold Ctrl before starting to drag an existing tile, then drop it in a new position to create a copy. The copy retains the original tile’s settings, which you can edit independently.

Saving Your Dashboard

Save your dashboard when you have finished configuring and arranging its tiles.

Combine dashboards with View Profiles to create reusable monitoring views.
