Dashboards
Dashboards allow you to display live sensor data using gauges, entity tiles, cards, and 2D floor visualization layers.
They appear as overlays on top of your 3D floorplan or inside a View Profile.
Creating a Dashboard

Open the Dashboards tab in the left sidebar, then click + Add.
A dashboard includes three configuration tabs:
- Summary — Set the dashboard name
- Tiles — Choose from all available tile types
- Properties — Browse sensors and entities from Home Assistant

Add data tiles using either of these methods:

Drag sensors directly
Open the Properties tab
Drag an entity into the highlighted edit area
The tile appears as an entity list-type tile -
Add a gauge or chart first
Open the Tiles tab
Drag a Gauge into the edit area
Drag a sensor from Properties onto the gauge to bind its data source
Available tile types include:
Gauge — Shows a numeric value with color-coded ranges
Entity — Displays a device or sensor state
Floor Layer — Shows top-down 2D floor overlays or heatmaps-
Using the Floor Layer tile
The Floor Layer tile is especially powerful for 2D heatmap visualization.To configure it:
- Drag Floor Layer from the Tiles tab
- A popup panel will appear
- Select a
Floorand optionally aHeatmap Layer - The tile displays a 2D floor map or 2D heatmap for that floor

Dashboards become especially powerful when combined with View Profiles.
