Visualize Data (Dashboards & Heatmaps)

Zircon3D visualizes your Home Assistant data using Dashboards, Heatmap Layers, and View Profiles.

1. Create Heatmap Layers

Heatmap Layers turn sensor values (temperature, humidity, COâ‚‚, etc.) into color-coded floor overlays.

  1. Open Layers (left panel)
  2. Edit system layers (Temperature, Humidity) or click + Add
  3. Choose color pattern, value range, interval, decay, and matching rules
  4. Save the layer

When you mount sensors, heatmap layers apply automatically if they match the rules.

Enable heatmaps from the bottom Display Settings in Designer or Viewer.

2. Create Dashboards

Dashboards show data as gauges, entity tiles, or 2D floor layers.

  1. Open Dashboards → click + Add
  2. Add tiles by:
    • Dragging entities from Properties, or
    • Dragging a Gauge / Floor Layer tile from Tiles
  3. Bind entity sources
  4. Save the dashboard

Dashboards appear as overlays in Viewer or inside your View Profiles.

3. Create a View Profile

View Profiles let you save a complete visualization layout:

  • Camera angle
  • Heatmap layers
  • Dashboard overlays
  • Floor visibility
  • Visual style
  1. Open View Profiles → + Add
  2. Configure Profile, General, Camera & Navigation, and Visual Style
  3. Save

Your saved views now appear on the Zircon3D main page and inside Home Assistant.
